The Paloma

It’s the freakin’ weekend (although it may just feel like a Tuesday… #quarantinelife), so you know what that means… time for a quarantini!!! This weeks cocktail of choice : The Paloma.


I saw a friend of mine enjoying one of these on Instagram last week, and I’ve been dying for one ever since! I’ve mentioned before that I love a tart drink, and nothing says tart like fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice. Fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice is like a little piece of heaven with its soury- sweetness, and makes the perfect cocktail for a warm Quarantine evening ;-).


Kosher Salt

Tequila (I use Espolon).

1/4 cup of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice

1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice  (about 1/2 of a lime)

Topo Chico (or club soda)


First pour a little salt on a plate. Then add a little lime juice on the rim of your glass, and dip the rim of the glass in the salt.  Pour desired amount of tequila in glass. Add 1/4 cup grapefruit juice, juice from half of a lime, then fill the cup with ice. Now top off with Topo chico, give it a little stirry stir.. and you are ready to enjoy!!
